The Trustees and Volunteers of Deal Timeball Tower are saddened by the sudden death of Geoffrey “Kevin” JOYCE on 7th June 2022, aged 67.

Kevin was an enthusiastic volunteer at Deal Timeball Tower. Over the past couple of years he has completely re-modelled the interior of the Tower. He updated all our display boards on each and every floor and installed several wonderful and informative audio visual screens. He also re-designed and manufactured some of our sales goods, respectively keyrings and fridge magnets.

He was a master of graphic design with a flair for relevance. You could not fail to be amazed by his industry and thoroughness. He gave his time and expertise without any fuss. He was a wonderful person to whom we are all very grateful.
